　　林永松先生被誉为是中国当代山水画坛上的实力派画家，所谓“实力派”，实际包含着两个方面的含义，一是不依靠门第出身，一个人、一支笔独闯天下；二是作画不讨巧、不媚俗，硬碰硬地从传统中来，到大自然中去，全然不顾他人的或喜或弃，但以我胸中逸气写我纸上峰壑。林永松先生正是这样一位山水画家。

　　林永松先生的山水画带有很复杂的绘画因素，仅以他在继承前辈山水巨擘的皴法上所创立的“迷踪皴”，其内涵包容之丰富、视觉效果之多变，就储备了足够的时代山水画法上的研究课题；同时，仔细阅读欣赏他的作品，就能感觉到他是近年来山水画创作中较为罕见的能将传统技法皴、擦、点、染、勾有机融为一个整体的画家，正是因为如此，他的画作不管是尺幅是八尺、还是丈二，都显出酣畅淋漓、了无滞碍的通体融会贯通，这其中肯定包含了他对谢赫六法中最抽象、最难于理解的“气韵生动”四个字理念上的诠释与创作上的探索；还有，就是林永松先生的墨法，不管是积墨、破墨还是泼墨，新的色彩美学理念与对传统施墨赋彩画法的对撞结果，成就了他用墨如色、用色如墨的又一种个性墨法的诞生，仔细体味林永松先生山水画中的用墨，既有别于前辈画家萧谦中、李可染先生，又与贾又福先生的墨法保持着适度的距离。无可否认，他的墨法与前辈之间，的确存在着于兰于水那样不可分割的继承关系，当然更不能否认巴蜀福地洞天对这位蜀籍画家的精神滋养。

　　如果不以这样专业的复杂的眼光阅读林永松先生的山水画作，那么我们同样也可以把他复杂的绘画因素化简成五个字一言以敝，那就是“矛盾与统一”。

　　林永松先生的山水画，从直观上看，的确缺少一些缥缈可人的浪漫，画面上的用笔凶狠、夯实，每一笔都有杀入纸背的力度，迷踪皴法也是笔笔生根，往复繁而不乱，挥运清晰，蜀地画家特有的气质一目了然。如果套用传统的中国批评架构，可以说阳盛而阴不足，缺少一种综合性的平衡。但是，如果能够有足够的时间，在他的作品前五米或更远一些的位置驻足，你一定会感觉到你会逐渐地走进另一个世界，蓊翠欲滴的苍山、湍急直下的峡江、江中有随波逐流的渔舟，有动有静、有山有水、有声有色。天籁醍醐，松风漱齿，林永松先生就这样把他潜意识中最完美的梦境贡献给了他的欣赏者。这时你会理解到，那些看起来硬邦邦的线条、层层叠嶂的皴法，都是我们远在五米以外置身佳境的最根本的物质保证。没有这些看似阳盛阴衰的线条，就不能拉开欣赏的距离，也就没有办法使欣赏者产生足够的视野，大美也就没办法产生。

　　林永松先生的山水画，在矛盾中求得了统一，也求得了和谐，这才是他山水画最高妙之处。

PREFACE

Wang Daming

　　Mr. Lin Yongsong is known as an excellent landscape painter in contemporary China. His strength has two basic aspects. On the one hand, he takes little notice of the world around him but he strives alone. On the other hand, his painting is strikingly simply. He makes little effort to please the public. Both traditional and true to nature, no whether others like it or not. He is never eager t please and never gives up. His thoughts show on the paper. Mr. Lin is just this kind of a landscape painter.

　　Mr. Lin Yongsong landscape painting may look simple, but in fact it is quite complex. He has absorbed his predecessor's painting skills and created his own way of paring named as Mi Zongcun. His painting has a rich content and a changeful vision. His landscape painting skills can serve as a research topic. When we look at his work, we see that he has integrated many kinds of painting skills "cun can dia ran gou" into a new whole. His paintings are eight or twelve feet, ones all simple, clear and they embrace much indeed. They contain his conception of art and explorative spirit. We can admire his methods of the ink and water, either ink plot, ink-breaking or splash. New color aesthetics concept for traditional painting the deliberate contrasts and collisions, the color inks all of these are a special signature of the artist's unique skills. Looking a Mr. Lin's ink skills in his landscape painting carefully we see how different he is from those senior painters such as Xiao Qianzhong or Li Keran. But there is only a moderate distance from Jia Youfu. There is not denying the fact is an integral inheritance relationships with senior painter and the Sichuan Place have a deep influence on him.

　　You don't have to be a professional with a trained eye to appreciate Lin Yongsong's pictures. While complex his paintings have a clear unity within their rich diversity.

　　Intuition and feeling tell us that Mr. Lin's landscape painting lack some romantic factors. But his paintings are powerful. The painting skill of MiZongcun is also powerful and clear. Mr Lin's art is charged with the unique temperament of Sichuan. Perhaps from the traditional view point, it lacks a comprehensive balance. If you have enough time to immerse yourself in his work, you will enter into another world, the world of green hills, riptides, boats, all very colorful and beautiful.

　　Mr. Lin gives his innermost artistic, his noble achievements to his dedicated admirers. Gradually you will understand that the lines and ink strokes and the remarkable with these are the artist's basic tools. Only then can we appreciate the great beauty of these paintings.

　　Mr. Lin's landscape paintings display an unparalleled unity in their amazing rich diversity.
